January 18th, 2001 was the inaugural show for C.o.R.E - Constructs of Ritual Evolution. The show took place at Numbers in Houston, TX and I had been invited by my friend Steve Joyner to open the show and play a small role in the C.o.R.E. show as well. I arranged a rental car and Scott and I prepared for what has become an alomst regular routine - driving nonstop from NY to Texas. Along the way, we would be picking up Brent Hedgespeth at Body Rites Indiana and then direct to Steve's house in Houston.

Alot of other people came to Houston for the show to help out as well, including a number of from TSD who came in from Dallas and Austin, and make the show great. A special bonus for me was that Meghan was able to come from Austin to see the show and spend some time with me. My show went off well, with a great audience that loved participating in the show. The C.o.R.E. show was an excellent theatrical telling of an elemental creation story illustrated by a number of suspensions from a single large frame. It was no small undertaking and the crowd appreciated it.
