The Red Room

 St Patrick's Day

2002

Scott, acting in just one of his many roles set up a show with The Red Room (518 Broadway, Albany, NY) for St Patrick's Day weekend 2002. It seemed like a natural idea - get the green man for St. Pat's. We did the show at midnight on saturday the 16th - so technically, it was the 17th when we went onstage. March 17th also happens to be my father's birthday so I opened the show by dedicating it to him. The show itself was a pretty informal affair, very much a party type of atmosphere with me just playing with the crowd and our onstage volunteers. Unfortunately, I left my digital camera in Austin and then the night of the show I left my video camera at Scott's house. However, Dennis at the Red Room came through in a big way by not only taking pictures with his camera but also burning a cd of the photos and getting it to me. To read about how my drive (30+ hours each way) and the rest of trip went, checkout the journal entries from 3/8 - 3/20 in the archive. Otherwise, lets get to the pictures...
